Arts and Crafts Shop Assistant

  • Hours per Week - 37.5 hours a week (full time) Tuesday to Saturday, 9am-5pm

  • Salary - £22,308 per annum

This is a busy and varied role as part of the Art Shop team.

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our members and the public, as well as providing a Front of House service to our customers who visit Children’s Scrapstore for various events.

This role will also lead on the display and promotion of shop goods, within the Art Shop and by creating video content for our social media channels.

Do you have strong administration skills?

This is a busy and varied role as part of the Art Shop team.

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our members and the public, as well as providing a Front of House service to our customers who visit Children’s Scrapstore for various events.

This role will support the membership of the organisation and is a key link between our membership and shop teams. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate processing and administration of Scrapstore membership.  You will also assist with promotion of membership through social media and other mediums.

Playworker

  • Location - Based at head office in Bristol with day-to-day work travelling across the southwest to play sessions.         

  • Vacancy - Fixed Term Contract to end July 2026

  • Hours per Week - 30 hours a week (part time) Monday – Friday

  • Salary - £22,308 per annum pro-rata

Would you like to be part of improving play for children?

As a playworker in the Children’s Scrapstore Play Team, your main responsibility will be delivery of weekly outreach ‘open access’ play sessions within our play ranger team.

It is a busy and varied role, with much of the work outside, all year round and in all weathers at different locations in the city.
