Toys and Games:

  • South Bristol Toy Library - a small, volunteer run local charity, encouraging free play, the sharing and reuse of toys, and aim to support the development of children from all backgrounds. They’re open to accepting donations of toys and games, but ask that you contact them first to see if they can take them, you can email them at: hello@southbristoltoylibrary.co.uk.

  • Bristol Waste Reuse Shop - you can donate toys and games you have to Bristol Waste’s reuse shops. You need to book a slot to drop-off donations at Avonmouth and St. Phillips, but Hartcliffe can accept donations during its open hours so you can bring in your donations at any time.

  • Share Bristol - an organisation where people can reserve and borrow the things that they need and want, instead of buying them brand new. They accept donations of lots of different things all the time, to check what they currently need, click here. But they are accepting donations of outdoor games and they may need more games in the future.

  • Children’s Scrapstore – we have a soft toys donation collection tub in the foyer, as well as this, our clothing bank outside allows for soft toys donations, and these are used for children’s play. We may also accept other toys and games for our warehouse, either call up at: 0104 914 3139 or come in and show us what you have.

  • Charity shops - very likely to accept all types and sorts of toys and games, just find a charity shop to donate to.

  • Clothing banks - some clothing banks may accept toys and games, perhaps only soft toys, you will need to check individually first.
