Baby, Toddler, and Children’s Things
Baby Bank Network - a charity that collects donations of pre-loved baby items (covering a wide selection of things) to then give to those in crisis and poverty. Check this page to see what you can donate: https://www.babybanknetwork.com/donate-items/.
Charity shops - likely to take most things, you can always call up or walk in to double check.
Aidbox Community – a charity helping those who are seeking asylum by offering support and a free shop collated of things people have donated. You should check: https://www.aidboxcommunity.co.uk/donate-your-items before donating to see if they need any baby and kids things (you can also call up).
Bristol Little Steps Shop - a charity shop that sells everything for 0-15's, they take in lots of donations and can even come collect things if they are too big. Their website has their address and contact number.
Swaps - look out for clothes and toy swaps, there will be one at the Community Reuse Fair on the 16th September 2023, and then one at each of our Community Reuse Fair’s after.
Clothing banks - often accept things such as shoes and hats, as well as clothes, but you will have to check first. The Bristol Waste Recycling Centres have a clothing bank too. We have a clothing bank outside of our store, we accept: clothes, paired shoes, bags and belts, and soft toys.
Facebook Marketplace - if you list them for free they are likely to go quickly, and usually the person purchasing the items will come collect them (so quite simple and easy really!).
Olio app - you can list things to swap or give to other people in your local community.
